1. Our Favourite Dog Friendly Bars In Leeds: The Reliance

The Reliance is a quirky restaurant and bar with excellent food and drinks. Praised by food critics across the UK, this venue is truly remarkable – and they will go above and beyond for your dog. Expect a bowl of water as soon as you sit down, and you can even ask for treats at the bar if you notice your dog getting a bit peckish.

They also do amazing Sunday roasts, which is ideal after a long Sunday morning dog walk – but we’d suggest booking for this, as it is always a busy day!

2. The Watermark

If you’re looking for an late night dog friendly venue, look no further than our lovely cocktail bar. The Watermark welcome dogs until close (which is normally around 4am), and the staff will to everything they can to make sure your dog is happy and comfortable while you’re with us.

We also have lots of delicious small plates for you to enjoy, including cheesy marmite crumpets, charcuterie and vegan nibbles. So if you prefer late night dog walks to early morning walks, this is the perfect venue for you!

3. Doghouse Bar And Bagel Shop

Doghouse Bar And Bagel Shop may look like an unassuming traditional pub, but in reality it is so much more. It is a pub, a bagel shop and a record store (yes, really), and most importantly it is dog friendly. There are even two resident dogs prowling the venue (hi Rodney and Rita!). We love this place for its delicious bagels and laid-back attitude – and it means even if you don’t bring a dog of your own, you can still get some head pats and strokes in while you enjoy a pint.

4. Tabula Rasa

Tabula Rasa recently opened up near Victoria Gate, and it will welcome both you and your pup. Go early in the day for a coffee and a snack, or head down later in the day for a cocktail or a pint of Guiness. Your dog is always welcome – and if they’re lucky, maybe you’ll share some bar snacks with them.

5. Headrow House

Headrow House is one of the largest dog friendly venues in Leeds. The building boasts four floors of entertainment, including a live music space and a beer and wine hall. There is even a dog-friendly rooftop bar that is perfect for summer! We love this space, and if you ask staff in the beerhall they will give you a bowl of water for you dog.
